Weary of the conventions of Parisian society, a rich playboy and a youthful courtesan-in-training enjoy a platonic friendship, but it may not stay platonic for long. Gaston is the scion from a rich Parisian family and seeks emotional shelter from the superficial Parisian lifestyle. He has a relationship with Gigi, his ex-mistress, who was a tomboy grandchild.
