Scott Pilgrim is a member of a band that aspires for success. Knives Chau is five-years younger than him and they have a difficult time reconciling after being dumped in high school by their former girlfriend. She has since become a successful singer with her own band. Scott is attracted to Ramona Flowers when he falls in love with her. He has difficulty breaking up his relationship with Knives, and attempts to romanticize Ramona. Ramona has seven ex-lovers and must fight to win Ramona. --Jim Beaver
