It's the middle of the nineteenth century. Ada is unable to speak, and Flora, her young daughter. She leaves Scotland with her daughter, Flora, and her piano to join her in an arrangement marriage. Stewart, her husband of three years is not the man she imagined. Stewart's sale of her piano to George causes Ada to feel pain and despair. Ada is taught by George how to play the piano and that it may be possible for her to earn her piano back. However, there are certain conditions.
