Arcane, also known as Arcane: League of Legends on screen, is an adult-animated streaming television series that Alex Yee and Christian Linke created for Netflix. Fortiche produced the series under the direction of Riot Games. It is set in the League of Legends universe and focuses primarily on Vi and Jinx. The series was first announced in 2019 at the League of Legends 10th Anniversary Celebration. It will be released in November 2021.
Arcane's debut season received critical acclaim. It was praised for its animation, worldbuilding, characters, emotion, voice acting, and story. In 52 countries, it ranked first on the Netflix Top 10 chart, while in the United States, it ranked second.
Riot Games and Netflix announced on November 20, 2021 that Arcane's second season had ended.
