Frasier was an American sitcom that aired on NBC for 11 seasons. It premiered on September 16, 1993 and ended on May 13, 2004, respectively. David Angell, Peter Casey and David Lee created the program and produced it in association with Grammnet (2004), Paramount Network Television.
This series was originally created as a spinoff from the sitcom Cheers. The series continues the story about psychiatrist Frasier Crane who returns home to Seattle as a radio host. Martin Crane, his father and Niles, his younger brother, are reunited. Peri Gilpin played Frasier's producer Roz, while Jane Leeves was Jane Leeves, Martin's caregiver.
Frasier received critical acclaim. The series and its cast won 37 Primetime Emmy Awards. This was a record for a scripted series. A revival of the series has been approved and will be available on Paramount+ in 2022.
