Good Omens, a fantasy comedy series written and created by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett based on their 1990 novel of that name. The series, which ran six episodes, was a co-production between Amazon Studios Studios and BBC Studios. Gaiman served as showrunner. David Tennant and Michael Sheen lead an ensemble cast that also includes Adria Arjona and Miranda Richardson, Jack Whitehall and Nick Offerman. Jon Hamm, Brian Cox and Mireille Enos are among the others. Frances McDormand is the voice of God and narrates the series.
Good Omens, like the novel, features various Christian themes, figures, and various characters trying to encourage or stop the coming of Armageddon. This is seen through the eyes and words of Aziraphale, the angel, and Crowley, the demon Crowley.
The first season's episodes were all released on Amazon Prime Video May 31, 2019. They were also aired weekly on BBC Two UK from January 15 to February 19, 2020. The show's original season was intended to be a short series. However, the show was renewed in June 2021. Sheen and Tennant, along with most of the cast, returned for the second series.
