Only Murders in the Building, an American mystery-comedy streaming television show, was created by John Hoffman and Steve Martin. The first season of ten episodes premiered on Hulu August 31, 2021. It features three characters, Martin Short, Selena Gomez and Martin Short who have a shared obsession with true crime podcasts. The three neighbors investigate the suspicious death of their Upper West Side apartment block, the Arconia. Police declared it suicide.
Critical acclaim has been given to the series, which was praised for its comedy approach to crime fiction and the chemistry between the leads. Hulu renewed the series in September 2021 for a second season, which will premiere on June 28, 2022.
