The Book of Boba Fett, an American space Western television series that Jon Favreau created for Disney+'s streaming service Disney+, is called The Book of Boba Fett. It is part of the Star Wars series and takes place after Return of the Jedi (1983). It is a spinoff of the Star Wars series The Mandalorian and features Boba Fett, the bounty hunter and crime lord. The Book of Boba Fett is available alongside The Mandalorian, Ahsoka and other spin-offs.
Temuera Morrison plays the title role, while Ming-Na Wen (and Pedro Pascal) also star. All of the characters from The Mandalorian, and other Star Wars media, are back. Before Lucasfilm started prioritizing streaming series like The Mandalorian, there were several attempts to create a Star Wars movie centered around Boba Fett. In December 2020, a potential spin-off series was announced. The filming began at that time and continued until June 2021.
The Book of Boba Fett aired seven episodes from December 29, 2021 to February 9, 2022. It has received mixed reviews from critics.
