The Rookie: Federals is an American television series that focuses on police procedural crime. It is a spin-off from The Rookie. The series was created by Alexi Hawley for ABC and Terence Paul Winter. It will focus on Simone Clark, an older rookie at the FBI Academy. Star roles were given to Niecy Nash–Betts and Felix Solis as well as Britt Robertson, Britt Robertson and James Lesure. The basic concept and characters of the series were first introduced in a backdoor pilot that aired two episodes in The Rookie. It premiered in September 2022.
