Vampire Academy, an American fantasy horror television series, is based on Richelle Mead's novels. It is produced by Universal Television. Along with an ensemble cast, it stars Sisi Stringer and Daniela Nieves.
This is the second adaptation of the novel series after the 2014 film. It serves as a reboot. Peacock gave it a straight-to series order in May 2021. Casting announcements were made in 2021. Filming was done in Spain and Portugal.
This series includes characters from the books as well as reimagined versions. It centers around Rose Hathaway, a guardian in-training Dhampir and Lissa Dragomir who are Moroi princesses. The series follows their adventures at St Vladimir's Academy boarding school.
Peacock premiered the series on September 15, 2022 to generally positive reviews.
